The screw terminals on the side don't really allow enough room to get 12 gauge wire underneath it easily. The terminal screws move around (by design) and don't back out to fixed positions. This means you kind of have to hold the outlet almost upside down, using gravity to allow the terminal screws to fall down enough for you to get the 12 gauge wire underneath. Here's the real kicker. You might be thinking "just remove the terminal screws, make a neat loop out of your copper wire and reinstall...

Mixed Results
I ordered 5 of these. The tamper resistant feature made one plug almost unusable as it did not work properly. After just a couple months, one of the outlets is half dead. Top plug works but bottom doesn't.

Easy to install

Not the typical socket
