What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this diamond drill bit. Many praise its cutting ability, noting it drills cleanly through porcelain tile, ceramic, and glass with minimal force, producing smooth holes. However, nearly as many report severe disappointment with durability, citing diamond coating wear after just one or two holes. Reviewers describe the coating as poorly adhered and uneven, with some unable to complete a single hole. The inconsistency in build quality frustrates users who expected longer lifespan. Despite strong initial performance for some, the premature wear and short functional life leave many questioning its value.

This 1/4-inch Spyder diamond hole saw was easy to use and worked well for what I needed. It felt solid, did the job without any problems, and I would definitely use it again.
It was a difficult item to find
Does the job well
Junk
Made it through 2 holes before all the grit was worn off down to metal. This is with a stream of water and pulling it out to water the hole. Don't even bother with this brand. $18 is ridiculous for what I got out of it.
Use this not that on porcelain tile!
Did great! Would be great if it had a starter tip point to start the hole, go slow, add water and she did the job on bathroom tile (porcelain)
