Little Mermaid Clematis provides your garden with an extravagant abundance of nicely rounded flowers. The blooms open in a deep salmon color and lighten to a delightful coral pink, often with a touch of purple in the center. Blooms first in late spring or early summer and again in late summer on new wood, especially if trimmed after the first bloom. This variety likes humusy, well-drained soil with a heavy mulch. In late winter, prune the 8 to 10 feet tall and up to 12 inches wide.
