Autumn Revolution is a well mannered, native bittersweet. It grows quickly and gets large, but its not an invasive oriental variety. Its branches provide an ideal location for birds to build their nests in the summer. In the winter, the branches offer birds a welcoming shelter and its berries provide food. Bittersweet is often used to create fall decor and Autumn Revolutions extra large berries make easy work of do it yourself projects. To create a showy wreath that pops with color, just twist the flexible vine around itself. As the berries dry, they maintain their color and cling fast to the vine, so your wreath wont fall apart over the holidays. A native cultivar, Autumn Revolution is drought tolerant and produces berries without a pollinator.
