The Summer Spice series unveiled brand-new colors for hardy hibiscus, and the colors on Plum Flambe's huge flowers are some of the loveliest. Be sure to grab some to enjoy indoors in a cut-flower bouquet. You'll have plenty to work with, they cover the shrub and keep coming through a long season. Plum Flambe has a tidy, compact habit, which is handy for fitting into borders and presenting in a patio pot. Plus, the ratio of large blooms to smaller shrub makes the display all the more dramatic. Butterflies and other pollinators frequent the blooms, but deer generally don't bother with this plant.
Each offer includes one plant grown in a 2.25 gallon pot
Reaches a mature height of 36 inches tall
Blooms early summer to fall in full sun to partial shade
Can deadhead to improve the appearance of the plant; last years growth can be cut down in late winter/early spring
Hibiscus are slow to break dormancy, so be patient while watching for new spring growth
