Purple Prairie Trillium has leaves that display a mottled blend of dark green, light green and grayish white. In mid to late Spring, Purple Prairie blooms with flowers that may range in color from maroon to brownish purple to deep red. An attractive ground cover, trillium typically features 3 leaves, 3 sepals and 3 petals on each stem. Dependably naturalizes under the right conditions and is perfect for woodland gardens.
