Green Mountain Boxwood is perfect for low formal hedges. Often used as a non-intrusive low hedge around other plantings to draw attention. For example, as an outline to separate a rose garden from the rest of the bed. Very well adapted to shearing and it grows slowly to 2 ft. to 3 ft. tall by the 10th year. Will eventually mature to 3 ft. to 5 ft. tall. It has an upright, healthy growth habit, which combined with its slow growth makes it perfect and easy choice for a low maintenance hedge.
