Bird's Nest Spruce has a wonderful, and yet unusual growth habit. Branches of short, dark green needles that arch outward forming a unique bird's nest appearance. Early spring provides a burst of fresh green color for your lanscape, that matures into a dark green color which it maintanes year round. This is also a great container plant as it is a slow grower, only 3 to 6 inches per year, and will only reach 2 feet tall and 4 feet wide when fully mature, in about 10 years. Hardy in USDA zones 3 to 7.
