What Customers Are Saying
The tool pouch/belt is a generally well-received product, with many positive comments about its size, quality, and usefulness for DIY and home projects. Customers appreciate features like the adjustable belt, multiple pockets, and the clip to hold a tape measure. However, some reviewers had issues with the design and durability, particularly with the buckle and belt adjustment mechanism. A few found the pouch to be too shallow or narrow to securely hold larger tools, and there were also some complaints about the stiffness of the material. Despite these drawbacks, most customers seem satisfied with the product, especially considering the affordable price point.

So I have spent month's looking for something that I could use to hold my hordless dewalt drill, hammer, and other things i may need for my project. Beign a woman all I can find were ones meant for men and were too large or had too much going on. I am not small but I also don't want to be lugging aroudn this thing on my hips. Bbut this was super affortable, great quality, and it doesnt look too bad either!
Notvfor me
Not a fan. The length is difficult to adjust. I need to make adjustments throughout the day depending on the weather and workload. This cannot be done quickly or easily. The clip is also questionable. The second day I used it, the bag and all my tools crashed to the ground when i tried to climb down from a roof. Also the bag is fixed to the belt. Better hope you like its location. You can rotate the whole thing and risk it falling off again.
Needed in a hurry!
My old carpenter's apron was canvas and several years old so I wanted a replacement. This Kobalt polyester apron is a big disappointment. First, it's way too narrow. The hammer holder puts the hammer exactly in line with your kneecap and is placed for a left handed person (a holder on ea. side is ideal). The measuring tape holder is the same. As for the polyester, it's so stiff until you have to fight to get your hand inside. All in all, if the designer knew anything about the product's use he/s...
Don't buy it if you need a measuring tape.
The apron doesn't have the standard slot for measuring tapes. If you use the larger pockets for measuring tape, you lose space for nails and screws. I rummaged through my old tools and found a Craftsman nail and screw bag that worked. Difficult to adjust the belt looping. It was disappointing that Kobalt would make a poorly designed apron.
Poor Buckle
I didn’t expect a heavy duty, professional quality apron for the $15 price I paid. Although, I did expect to be able to put a hammer and a tape measure in it without it pulling the buckle apart. With a little weight in the pouch the buckle would come apart every time I bent over or put any type of pressure on it at all. Spend the extra money and get a apron with a loop buckle system.
Nice Design and adjustable belt
I really like the clip closure vs normal belt closure. The tape measure holder is a nice touch, nice design in my opinion, may be a little awkward for a left handed person.
A little small, but nice.
A little tight and brittle, but that may just be because it's new and not broken in yet. I like the clip being in the front, my previous belts have buckled in the back and this is a refreshing change. We'll see how long it lasts!
Great small nail pouch.
Perfect size for roofing screws. Small but holds a lot of screws without the bulk. Inexpensive but well made
Not bad
It's a bit smaller than I'd like. It holds the tools I'm currently using, but I may upgrade to a larger belt that can hold more tools. For the price it's what I needed.
Buckle is junk
The buckle on this is junk. I put this tool apron on and put a hammer in it and the whole thing fell to the floor. I can pull the buckle apart with almost no force. This is going back to the store today
