Excellent Security lights

These lamps are a great power saver. We installed the two we received in a motion activated security fixture for a customer. They were much brighter than the previously installed fluorescent devices and the customer was really pleased. Trading 120 watts for 30 watts is a no brainer in anyone's book. Not only that, but they have a 5 year warranty.

I still can’t tell if they work, the flange past the threaded area is just a little too wide to be properly screwed into the socket

Very bright and energy efficient

LED flood lights are the way to go. Less heat, so reduces energy bill to produce light, and reduces bill because less cooling is required to make up for the heat generated by traditional or halogen bulbs. This flood light is bright. It has a nice warm color, so it's suitable for residential indoor use. In our particular case, the light ends up slightly recessed, which is fine. Brightness is perfect, and a single light over the sink is more than enough to prepare food or do dishes.

Good quality and dimmable.

These are great lights that are dimmable. They are not as heavy as traditional flood lights, which I really like. The casing and lens are plastic. Overall great energy saving lights.

Nice Light

I've converted my entire house to all LED light bulbs, except for the last two incandescent outdoor flood lights. One of them went out so I am trying this 15Watt Par 38 Wet location 120-Watt equivalent LED Soft White flood light bulb . I really like the 2700K color similar to incandescent bulb ( see picture LED bulb on right compared next to a conventional incandescent 100W bulb on the left), it puts out a nice wide pattern onto my yard, and the fact that these are very lightweight ( 6.4 ounces...
