Sigma's weatherproof one-gang extension ring increases the capacity of a weatherproof box. The rugged, die-cast construction prevents moisture penetration making the boxes suitable for wet, damp or dry locations. Extension rings are powder coated for corrosion resistance and include closure plugs, hardware and gasket.

It was what I needed for an exterior electric fixture. The only regret is that I went to the Lowes on 52nd Street Philadelphia and I could not get anyone to help me. Other Lowes locations are adequately staffed and the experience was very good.

Solid extension solution

I purchased a security light and it was too large for the mounting location. This extension brought the light lower allowing it to articulate and be adjusted for better coverage.
