Great but cant program

These are super bright, we have a large house on a corner. my husband put up 7 of these around two sides of our house. I am quite sure you can see our house from space. However the lights all shut off after two hours. The next night i pressed the six hour button and they still shut off after two hours, at that point i tried using the remote to restart them but they are all on a single remote frequency and there is a large range so i couldnt predictably use the remote, i couldnt get them all on ...

Timer defective (2 year review)

Yes, like many other reviews, we've had ours for two years now and I can say the timer is a massive pain to mess with. I'll find it running at random times throughout the day. I work from home so I pass the window where I can see it several times per day. It was initially supposed to run in the evening, but after re-sets and repeatedly trying to get the default timer setting to work, it's anyone's guess as to when it will turn on or off. I fought with this thing all last Christmas and its lookin...

Timer Does not work

I just read many other reviews with similar problems, I can verify that the timer does not work. It will turn on and off and all attempts to reset and do it per the instructions have not worked. It is supposed to do 6 on and 8 off right out of the box. It never did that. Only after that did we use the remote, no luck. This is sad because the lights look great. I would not buy from this manufacturer "Show Lights" for any of their products because they have not replied to my email after 6 days....

Year two and green laser no longer works properly.

Year one this was fantastic. I boxed it up and had it in my basement all summer and just fired it up for year two use. Red laser still works great, but the green laser is so feeble now that it can’t project past about three feet. I can see it with my hand right in front of it, but I project about 15 feet away and only the red shows now. It’s still pretty, hence three stars instead of 1, but ridiculous that the green laser is out already.

Remote Timer Does Not Operate Correctly

I won't repeat the other 75 reviews that state the same thing. However, if anyone can figure out to get these lights to go on and off at the requested times, please let us know. This is extremely frustrating. Short of unplugging the unit each night, I don't know of anything else to do. I will say that the clarity is really nice and bright. We live behind a State Park and the tress are lit up to the very top with clarity. I really love these lights and will buy more even though I may have to plug...

No matter what I do, two hours is all I get!

I’m annoyed by the timer issue. I’ve tried to contact the company and get no response. At this point, all I do is continually hit the power button on the remote when I notice they turn off after two hours. So ridiculous. If the company would be responsive in the many negative reviews about the same problem, maybe it could actually be fixed. The lights are fantastic but to only stay on for two hours is just stupid. Especially when it says the factory setting is 6 on 18 off. More like 2 on 22 off....

Nice lights but lousy timing

I bought 3 of these. The light color is strong/good and I love the way it looks. Timing is really bad though. The internal timers seem to have a mind of their own when being consistent. Attempted to use with a different timer and only 1 of 3 lights will turn on at night. Reset several times with no solution, now, to properly have all lights working at same time, I am forced to keep them on all day - I am sure this will drive up my energy bill and shorten the life. Expensive for one years ...

Either defective, or needs better design.

I ended up returning mine after about a week of trying to get the timer to work properly. Finally surrendered when having cleared the timer, and thinking it was set for 4 hours on, it turned off in under 4 hours, and was back on 13 hours later for unknown reasons altogether. I tried to read the manual multiple times, made multiple attempts to get the timer to work with no luck. Overall even when it did work it just really wasn't very effective. Super still lights

I bought 3 of this model because I wanted still lights, not moving light shows, I placed the under my pine trees(25 ft tall) shooting straight up. Wow ! They were terrific. I went back and bought 10 more (@ half price)and placed them under some 30' redwoods, again shooting straight up near the trunks. They look like bright emerald and ruby gems. People stop and ask me how did I get the lights up to the tops of the trees. Then I show them the projectors. I would buy more at half price , b...

Lights that don't work well

Lights have built in timers that are impossible to deactivate even though there is a button on the remote that is suspose to do just that. Every night at 8PM the lights go off and I have to go outside and reset them to on. All three lights are the same. Also it would be helpful if someone from Lowes would proof read the instructions. It is obvious a very poor English speaker wrote the instruction manual. That may be the problem with them not working correctly.
