Worked perfect for my dishwasher

It's a great idea, just poor execution. It has a brass seat in the female end and the female threaded nut is too shallow to get a good bite. It only caught one thread before the spherical brass ball in the female end made contact with the existing male pipe thread on the faucet. One thread was not enough to hold it together when I put the wrench on it and it ripped the thread out of the female end. I found another brand that has a spherical rubber seat like a FIP faucet supply hose.

This relies on tapered brass on the female connector to create a watertight seal against your existing male connector. After an hour googling solutions and tightening to the point I feel I'm going to break the pipe, I can say it just doesn't work.
Does what is supposed to do
Basic product at a normal market price. Did use to add a had sprayer.
