Severe Weather 2.75-in x 4-in x 8-ft Unfinished Pressure Treated Landscape Timber

Very solid piece of wood. Worked out great for the job we needed it for.

Internet Description Inaccurate

I order these based on the appearance and expectation of pressure-treated yellow pine, instead, when I went to pick this product up, they were not pressure-treated and cedar tone. The workers at the store look as if I were dumb when I told them this item was not right and stated "they must have put the wrong label on it when they processed the wood." I ordered online so that I would not have to deal with the crowds and COVID, but online ordering has turned out to be a disaster on multiple occa...

The boards were not as pictured. They were warped and split

Ordered online had delivery of 20 pieces. Some are off by an innch but no problem to size up with the ones thT matched for my project. Looks great easy to work with and the layout simply came together very well.

I bought 10 of these timbers for the side of my fence , knowing they rot , i painted the bad side with paint.

I purchased 18 of them, when they were on sale 2 years ago, as you can see they are 3x high 1x long 2x wide, I drilled holes on either end and middle and put rebar in them about 2ft down, if you secure them they will not warp, as for dents and rough spots you picked them out so that's on you, always look down the side of wood for warps and bends, no wood is perfect

Preparation

I usually take treated landscape timbers home and stack the ( off the ground) and place some cement blocks on them. Then cover with tin roofing for a couple of weeks. Once they dry they hold their shape better. These things are almost always wet. They're not kiln dried.extra work sure. Or find a place that sells dried material and pay twice as much.

Good product

After nearly a year they still are straight and look good.
