Keep your lawn protected from crabgrass with Scotts® Crabgrass Pre-Emergent & Fertilizer which prevents crabgrass before it invades and overtakes a lawn. This product controls barnyardgrass, foxtail, oxalis (common yellow woodsorrel), chickweed, knotwood, poa annua, crabgrass, moss, spurge, and fall panicum. Scotts® Crabgrass Pre-Emergent & Fertilizer also fertilizes the lawn for thicker, greener turf. The controlled release feeding will provide nutrients for up to 8 weeks. Applications of this pre-emergent should be made in the early spring before crabgrass sprouts. Apply Scotts® Crabgrass Pre-Emergent & Fertilizer with a Scotts® Broadcast, Drop, or Elite Spreader. For the best results lawns should receive 1/4 to 1/2 inch of water from rainfall or watering within 2-3 days after application. Conditions such as rain, snow, or freezing which might happen after an application will not affect the product performance. Scotts® Crabgrass Pre-Emergent & Fertilizer should not be used on Dichondra, St. Augustinegrass, or Bentgrass lawns.
