Ordered 3 of these locks during a Black Friday sale. Received all three, and every single one had some sort of damage to it, even though the box was absolutely fine. The problem lies with how Schlage packages these locks... its literally the worst way to package a lock I have ever seen. Lock has goofy UNLOCK logic
If the lock is already UNLOCKED when you enter the correct code (thinking it's locked), the lock then LOCKS itself, making you enter the code again to re-unlock it. Shouldn't it just remain unlocked?

Another great Schlage product
a little pricey but when it comes to security and trust it’s hard to put a price on it. The Schlage app is easy to use and the quality is top notch as usual. Easy to install, heavy built, ease of use is great. I only have once down fall but not enough to take a star away, I wish the backlit would come on before you touch it just so you don’t enter the wrong first number in your sequence.

Great for STVRs
We selected this lock for our front and back door on our STVR as it came highly recommended by our hosting vendor. It synchs up with the app and can issue new codes for each reservation. It was easy to install, but a little tricky to connect the app to the wifi. However once connected, it has been working seamlessly.

Doesn't work with Android & iPhone simultaneously
What you cannot do right now: Pair it with the Schlage Home app on Android and separately pair it to Apple HomeKit on iPhone as independent setups. One will overwrite the other unless you factory reset the lock each time. I also found this to be true even across two iPhones (using latest models & iOS). Dual setup on Android (Schlage) and iPhone (HomeKit) simultaneously isn’t supported until Schlage updates their firmware to supoort Matter. Another reason I gave it a low rating, the Schlage app f...
