Easy to Use - Great at Large Loads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed the drying of this dryer. I put it to the test and added a set of king sheets, 4 large beach towels and 2 regular sized bath towels. In one cycle it was able to thoroughly dry all components without any dampness or having to re-dry. For someone who is busy, this is a great tool to have so you don't have to spend much time thinking through if a load is too much or having to set up multiple drying times. Watch out for screws

I like the various dryer settings and appreciate that it drys clothes quickly. The Steam+ function is a nice feature to help “touch up” clothes that may need to have wrinkles taken out of them. However, one complaint I do have is that there were screws sticking out of the bottom of the dryer on one side. so many things wrong with this dryer, but i’ll mention the top two most frustrating. 1) lint filter is shaped like a taco with a plastic latch that is incredibly hard to open. watch your manicures, this is a fingernail wrecker. i keep a metal screwdriver to pry it open to clean out the lint. and 2) the most frustrating issue is how it’s impossible to dry sheets in one load. the dryer forms them into a very tight log that pounds loudly as it goes around. if you are trying to dry thicker material ...

Gas Dryer does not dry clothes

We have had the smart gas dryer for almost one year. The "smart" dryer shuts off the cycle before the clothes (or what ever) is dry. you have to run a second "timed dry" cycle after the regular cycle to finally get the clothes dry. (It has be timed dry which deactivates the sensors). We have had repair out three times so far and they tell us every thing is fine. too many steps

Its a nice dryer and does the job well... but, you have to go through too many steps to start the dryer. It doesn't start at the last cycle you used. It has to be continually be reset everytime you use it, like 4 steps. I don't like the feel of the control panel. It feels cheep. The duct check is a great feature. Our last home had a difficult-to-reach duct system and cleaning it took a long time, and sometimes it didn't even need it so time was wasted. With this dryer, we will still clean regularly but we have peace of mind that it will also do a little investigating on its own to make sure things are working well. Dumb controls

When the dryer is turned on, it automatically goes to the 'Normal' setting with less heat and less dry. It does this every time. At that setting the dryer takes an hour and 20 min and the clothes do not get dry. Soooo, you have to change the setting to get the thing to work, not once, but every time you turn it on. It would be nice if the thing remembered the last setting I used, or if it automatically turned on to a setting that would actually dry my clothes. Ed
