Well just had whole house energy monitor installed and discovered that the dryer is using 16 watts of power 24 hrs a day 365. I have paid as much in wasted electric as dryer cost. Energy star my butt. Now Samsung won't say if it can be turned off or Not

Didn't even last 5 years
Worked fine, until it didn't. Dryer was purchased Jan 2021 and it has already died. Needs a new circuit board, but they are no longer made. All existing inventory is sold out, so this appears to be a common problem.

Unreliable, bad build quality!
Bought this product 3 years ago with light usage and the drum is starting to make a grinding noise. Contacted Samsung and the told me it's out of warranty after 1 year. Didn't offer a good will or anything. Had me set with a company that specialize in Samsung appliances and wanted to charge 150 dollars to come out to take a look at it and 250 dollars an hour to fix without parts involved. Would never buy a Samsung appliances again.

Samsung needs to stick to phones
Every samsung appliance I have purchased hasn't lasted over 2 yrs! Im a big Samsung fan so when we redid our kitchen and laundry we went with Samsung everything. boy were we wrong as none of them work and are stuck replacing! I bought this several years ago and it has squeaked since I got it. It plays music way to much and it's interior light goes off way too fast. Now after several years, the drum has a crack in it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Broke After 2 Years
I purchased this machine a little more than two years ago and it's already broken. I called a service technician who said there was an issue with the motherboard and it was $400 and already on back order. Basically had to pay someone $150 to come look at it and tell me I need to buy a new washing machine. For this much money, you'd expect it to last more than two years. I'll never buy a Samsung washing machine again.
