Poor Quality, same issues as others. Do not buy
My wife and I bought our house in 2020, and model RF18HFENBSR came brand new to us. It was good at first, but several small issues arose both quickly and overtime. The door hinges did not hold open the doors, meaning they would slowly close in on you as you're trying to organize or use the fridge. On top of this, the fridge door seal/magnets are not strong, meaning the can easily be left open accidentally. Temperature fluctuations causing resets to be needed happened as well. Nice fridge - until the flooding
This was a nice fridge for my family until water started to pool at the bottom of the fridge part and freeze... then I was plunged into a mess of terrible Samsung repair work and customer support. If you're out of warrantee, just find a local repair company you can trust to get the job done fairly and save yourself the hundreds on repair work that creates more repair work that they make you pay for. It broke...
A plastic piece broke off of the left door when my wife opened the fridge to get milk for our daughter. It was not a component attached to the door, it was part of the door. I went to Samsung's website and you cannot buy a door. I went to several other suppliers and finally had one tell me the door had been discontinued. We also have a lot of water pooling in the bottom of the fridge now, so much that there was a puddle on our hardwood floor this morning!
