The STEELMAN 97170 EngineEAR Elite Electronic Stethoscope and Vibration Detection Tool is a compact device designed to help speed up the diagnosing of automotive engine problems. The detachable and flexible wand features an illuminated LED tip that can not only get into hard-to-reach spaces but brighten them up. The unique vibration detection mode is perfect for pinpointing the sources of troublesome sounds that indicate faulty bearings and injectors as well as for tracking down those annoying squeaks, rattles, and more. The noise cancellation feature can be used while in the vibration detection mode to eliminate background noise, making it easier to identify specific sounds. The ergonomic handle has a comfortable rubberized grip to provide comfort and features a mode selection switch with LED indicator so you always know what mode the tool is set to. The EngineEAR Elite also comes with a studio-style head set with tangle-free coil cord, which helps you easily listen for noises. Both the stethoscope and head set can be stored in the included blow-molded case.
