Really beautiful
The flooring and stair nosing look tremendous. I will say that the installation instructions are off. The attachment track, IMO, should be glued AND screwed down. The trick with screwing them down is to pre-drill, use many, and to not tighten them such that they crack the track. Additionally, while the nosing looks good, I can't speak to the durability. It appears that it may wear fairly quickly and I think Smartcore needs to redesign these to more of a solid core.

Dangerous, Poor Quality
My husband and I love the new Smartcore Pro Vinyl plank flooring. We installed it thoughout our house and wanted to complete the job using the matching stair nosing. Unfortunately the stair nosing product is very poor quality. The cheap plastic that locks the nosing to the stair is easily broken and flexes, making the stairs unsafe (see photos). Our contractor tried everything to make it work but after a few months the pieces on several stairs flex so much they caused my husband to trip and fall...

Great flooring, disappointing stair nose
My husband and I love our new Smartcore Pro flooring; however, we were very disappointed by its matching stair nosing and transition pieces. The stair nose is flimsy and broke on both our staircases during installation. The locking-mechanism piece is made out of cheap plastic and also breaks easily. Overall, we have been unimpressed.
