The two pieces keep falling apart

There is an inner metal piece that is supposed to provide some weight to the device, but it keeps falling out and falling down the sink drain

Nice and sleek look

I like its sleek look , covers my drain very snugly , has a nice finish that looks like doesnt get scratched easily, brand name is embossed on top of cover

Classy Sink

This drain cover nicely keeps silverware, measuring spoons, and other small dishes from going down the drain. It also blocks larger food particles, which is a plus if you use septic. The stainless appearance blends well into a stainless or porcelain sink. It is made of plastic, however, so it probably won't stand up to many heavy pots being dropped on it. But it definitely classes up the look of the sink.

Drain cover

This is not a stopper. It simply is for decorative or looks. It only sits over the opening of a garbage disposal opening or the drain opening. It hides the unsightly hole in the sink. It does not secure in the hole.

Works well

I was going to put this over my disposal, but then realized I'd be creating a mess when I wanted to wash food down it. I put it instead in my mud room sink. I had removed the basket strainer because it just got full of gunk, leaving me with an empty hole. This is the perfect thing for it...it dresses it up and still lets water and soap get to the drain. Pouring buckets of water into the sink is no issue, the water drains right out.

So simple but it really makes a difference

This stainless steel drain cover does a great job covering up the ugly garbage disposal opening in your sink. It prevents silverware from falling into the disposer and it still lets water and small debris drain. Aesthetically it just makes your sink look 100% nicer. So simple but I really love this thing.
