Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
Here is the refined summary: The paint goes on smoothly and provides good coverage, often requiring only one or two coats. It dries quickly and leaves a hard, durable finish that effectively prevents the buildup of algae, barnacles, and other marine growth, even in saltwater environments. The paint performs as well as or better than more expensive competitor brands. It is easy to apply using a brush or roller, though some caution it can be messy. Thorough mixing is recommended before use to prevent clumping. While most users are very satisfied, a small number report poor performance in certain regions.

manufacturer label wrong
purchased 1 qt rust-o-leum black bottom paint. After opening can and pouring it out, the color was blue not black. Label did say black. not happy. For the price, color should be correct.

Marie boat paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used this on our 10ft Jon boat. Product goes a long way. It must be mixed well and I cannot stress that enough!! Mix it very well. Seemed to be clumpy but given what it’s used for I guess that is to be expected. My husband was happy with it so it must have been what was needed!

Rust-oleum Marine Boat Bottom paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this paint a few weeks back, my husband finally got a chance to paint the bottom of his Boat. The application was pretty smooth, using a regular bristle paint brush. we used tape to paint a straight application. It dried fairly quick in our garage. I would recommend for those wanting to protect their boat bottom, from the elements
