totally worthless!!will not hold the paint it is designed for. get yourself a good 1/2"or 3/4" nap roller and save the time of messing around with this thing.

Do not use with Rescue It.

This roller did not work with the Rust-Oleum Rescue it paint. Luckily I had a high quality 3/8 nap roller that was able to do the job well. Tried with the Restore roller and it was awful. The paint was just to think for this weave roller. I'm sure it could work for the 10x Restore, but for the Rescue It, just use a regular 3/8 nap roller.

You need this

You absolutely need the roller if you are using the Restore products. It won't apply properly without it...

It took three rollers to do one driveway. They tear up too easily.

This was the worst roller

This was the worst roller refill I've ever purchased. It wouldn't get them in the crevices of the wood and it wouldn't spread the paint.

very porous

this product, I'm sure, is suppose to be porous due the thickness of the paint for the deck. It does not hold very much paint and when you use it you have to roll very slow or the paint will splatter on whatever is on the other side of the deck. It does create a nice texture on the deck. But, I would rather have just used a thinner type of deck paint to be able to use a regular roller.

Didn't use it for our application

This roller would be great for smooth finishes but for cool deck texture it was not a good choice.

This is a great item

I used the rollers on all of my concrete surfaces. Does a real nice job. Just remember that it will splatter so go slow so you don't get it all over.

Necessary but limited life

Necessary to apply Restore coating with its higher granular content. I did not find it to hold up very well in use and had to return to store for additional rollers to finish required second coat.
