The Russound CB-140 IR Connecting Block makes it easy to connect infrared accessories together. The hub of an IR repeater system, this connecting block receives signals from remotely located infrared receivers and channels them to your source components and other equipment. The CB-140 supports up to 4 components using the Russound IRE-1 single emitters (sold separately) or up to 8 components using Russound IRE-2 dual emitters (also compatible with Russound SaphIR emitters, sold separately). It also includes a jack for a Russound SLM-1 surface-mount receiver or 854 tabletop receiver (sold separately). It does require the additional purchase of the CB-PS power supply, which is sold separately. While designed to work as part of a complete Russound IR system, the CB-140 will work with most standard IR sensors and emitters. If using high output flooding type flashers, the use of a higher output power supply may be required (12 volts DC, 1 amp).
