Tough enough
I have worn Rocky boots, alpha force, side zip, for 12 years. The main things I like about them is comfort and waterproof. They really protect your feet. I have walked through puddles up to my ankles and when I take my shoes off at the end of the day, my socks and feet are dry.

Awesome boots
This is the second pair of these boots I've had, I love them and I wear them daily at my job, my only issue is that with this second pair both of the the zippers keep getting jammed on the inside zipper protective flap thing

Comfy and Warm
They Came Just in time for the cold weather to hit the East coast. They kept my feet warm and comfortable standing for hours through 20 degree temps followed by snow. Only issue is they cause my feet to sweat and slightly cold but still manageable. For areas with 20-40 F Temps , they pay for themselves.

Comfy but terrible, don’t buy for winter
I purchased my first pair of alpha force 400g insulated boots this year because I was tired of cold feet. I’m a Canadian law enforcement officer working in a patrol capacity. I ordered these boots looking for something versatile to wear in all weather, especially with snow in mind. The boots looked great, and reminded me of my years in the military!
