Add this product to your pool in the spring and you will improve chlorine effectiveness all season long. This product disperses rapidly to establish a chlorine protection quickly. It stabilizes pool water and extends the life of the disinfectant. Use a reliable test kit to determine the stabilizer concentration in the pool water. Follow the guide below to bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm. If the pool is new, just refilled, or has no stabilizer; add 4 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons to give the desired 40-100 ppm. Add this product slowly into the skimmer, or if desired, premix in a pail of warm water and then add directly to the skimmer. Be sure the filter is clean. Recirculate the water continuously for 24 hours to dissolve completely. Always maintain the chlorine residual in your pool at 2.0-4.0 ppm and pH at 7.4-7.6. For 5,000 gallon pools, to increase 10ppm add 6.3 oz., to increase 20 ppm add 12.5 oz., to increase 30 ppm add 1.2 lbs., to increase 40ppm add 1.6 lbs., to increase 50ppm add 2.0 lbs. For 10,000 gallon pools, to increase 10ppm add 12.5 oz., to increase 20 ppm add 1.6 lbs., to increase 30 ppm add 2.3 lbs., to increase 40ppm add 3.1 lbs., to increase 50ppm add 3.9 lbs.. For 20,000 gallon pools, to increase 10ppm add 1.6 lbs., to increase 20 ppm add 3.1 lbs., to increase 30 ppm add 4.7 lbs., to increase 40ppm add 6.3 lbs., to increase 50ppm add 7.8 lbs..
