Creative Catches for a variety of applications

Sometimes, you might need/find an ideal "catch/latch" for a special application . . . This seemed handy for future projects, but none where significant "holding" strength is indicated, as the fittings are cast metal, (I don't think it's solid brass) and likely best for indoor applications.

Simple latch

I used this latch to keep a DIY hunting blind door shut while in it. It worked great for this purpose.
