This beautiful Chinese ceramic is based on an authentic Tang dynasty statuette. During the Tang period, China reached new heights in the realms of arts and sciences, and grew to become an enormous empire that spanned most of Asia. Horses were instrumental in the administration of this vast territory, and were frequently depicted in the beautiful new tricolor ceramics that were emerging at the time. This fabulous replica recreates the colors of those ancient glazes, and makes a stunning display on a shelf, table, or mantel.
