Worst product and service ever
Receive this fireplace as a gift from my wife in November and it only worked through the month of March. Attempted to return it to Lowe’s and they claimed we had to go through the manufacturer. It took nine months and over 12 documented phone calls with the manufacturer For us to finally get a replacement part that did not work. Heater has only had a test but so far so good.
The mantle was splintered in 2 places, but customer service for RealFlame shipped replacement immediately. Easy assembly very nice for Apt size.

Nice Electric Fireplace
I was a little intimidated when the shippers delivered two large (heavy) boxes containing the fireplace. But the assembly went really smooth. Hats off to Real Flame for the easy to follow instructions and well marked parts. Once assembled, the fireplace really looks great, and so far it works to my satisfaction. This fireplace replaces an old gas insert fireplace and I am much happier with this electric fireplace.

A waste of time
I contacted Lowes five days after I received my fireplace for a price reduction when it went on sale for $200.00 less, I spent a long time online chat over two days only to find out they don't honor it unless it was the exact date you purchased it, so I will return it. It's really daft because they lost a $700.00 sale over a $200.00 reduction and now they need to process a return. Great faux fireplace! Very easy set up, looks nice. Decent heat output. I wouldn’t get it as a main heater source, but it’s a nice perk.
