The Y filter comes with a 150-mesh screen filter thats removable for cleaning and maintenance-unscrew the flush cap, remove the middle housing, and pull out the filter to clean or replace. The Y filter housing is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors, and contains a polyester filter.
