Had this installed at my 86 year old mother’s home so I could check controller if needed, but it rarely stays connected to the Internet, so the wifi feature is basically useless. To add to the frustration, the buttons on the controller rarely respond when you push on them, which means you can't even make adjustments manually. Didn't last long at all. No wonder they updated to a new model 4 months after they made this failed unit.

Stands out in the crowded field of smart timers

I bought this because, unlike other "smart" timers currently sold, it does not REQUIRE a phone to be used to set it up, run or view schedules, etc., it has an interface built into the physical unit for doing everything (almost – see later). In addition, it has an interface available from a phone app that may be used to do the same things as from the front panel. Having the phone app available is very nice, I have used it a few times. I like the wifi capability that allows me to set the timers indoors, plugs right into a outlet, eight sprinkler wires and a white common wire, wifi signal was weak.
