Low quality door for $300

I would not recommend anyone purchase this for. First impressions were the door was low quality and lack of attention to detail. One side the excess screen was not cut off. Then in trying to install it was clear we would have to find another way to extend the top and bottom. The screen is supposed to have extra panels that pull out to fit and then screw into place. The screws do not hold it in place so the panels fall back in making the door not fit. Rather than pack this large package back up a...

As others have said it's difficult to install. The spring mechanisms don't move freely and evenly - or one side will be springy and the other side will be stuck and you need to push manually with something. Overall, I found it impossible to get this thing to fit correctly after 1.5 hours of trying. The cheap plastic handle also seems like it will break easily. I'm surprised how expensive this is for how badly it works. The video is deceiving.

Poor quality.

DO. NOT. BUY. There is nothing "springy" about the expander pieces. The video shows an easy, worry free install. Not the case. As others have noted, the expander pieces need some "convincing" to open using a screwdriver. The copius amounts of metal shavings in the mostly stripped screw holes likely didn't help either. I bought two of these doors, both had the same issue. They are finally in, but are not sliding as they should. Shame on Lowe's for even offering such a terrible product.

Mostly bad despite a higher price

Spent the extra $70 or whatever to get it pre-assembled, still a big headache installing. First, those "spring loaded" slider height adjusters are so tight you can barely move them with a lever, let alone move freely under spring power. That made it a loborious 2 person job. Then, one of the tightener screws stripped through, had to drill a new hole. Finally the wheels are cheap plastic and I predict a short lifespan. Cmon guys, couldn't swing metal wheels for $238? Didn't work out.

The description is inacurate. It didn't fit even though it expands. It does expand, but not as much as it seemed to indicate.

Where's the customer service?

The screen looked good and seem to be well made. I could not get the screen to expand so I called rite screen to see what I needed to do. I called them twice but nobody answered the phone. I returned the screen after the second call.
