I'd just toe-screw it.....
I normally like Lowe's products because they have good quality, but WOW. they missed it on these. When you try to screw in the brackets into place the screws move the brackets because the screws are going in at an angle. Also the screws are extremely hard to get a bit to fit, and are of such poor quality that the heads strip out easily and they get hot and bend going in( if you can keep the brackets straight while screwing them in ). Really, I would love to see a Lowe's Pro install these without...
You must use a clamp on this while mounting.
cheap screws that came with the brackets were worthless. I had to buy additional screws that would not strip out.
