The ReliaBilt 1 in. solvent CPVC ball valve features a quarter turn shut-off valve for both hot and cold-water applications. The strong CPVC ball valve includes durable, corrosion resistant rubber O-rings to help create a tight, leak-free seal. This ball valve is most commonly used for irrigation, sprinkler systems, swimming pools and other residential applications where CPVC pipe is utilized and a shut off is needed. This valve is not intended for use in compressed air applications. Rated at 100 PSI at 180 degrees Fahrenheit, the optimal working temperature range is between 73°F and 140°F. The working temperature minimum is 32°F and the maximum is 180°F. The long lasting, corrosion-resistant CPVC is ideal for drainage and lower water pressure applications. The NSF certified material meets low lead standards for peace of mind.
