Prepare to clean up the factory caulking .
Nice windows , sloppy caulking and looks like they packaged them without letting the caulk dry.

Poor quality control poor customer service
Special order glass block came in poorly packed and missing glue between the glass block along the entire width underneath the window. Ended up fixing the window myself in order to continue with a project and not wait another two weeks for replacement. Called Lowe’s about it. Showed them images of the repair done to the window. They basically ignored their responsibility as an intermediary between the customer and a company they hire to make the windows. They were dismissive and gave me a runaro...

Easier installation that you think
Faced with damaged and old single pane basement windows on one of our rentals, we were going to opt for the usual replacement double pane sliding windows. After researching, the vented glass block windows were going to increase safety, R value, vent the basement as required by code and enable us to install easily ourselves (better than the standard window).
