Replacing patio door roller

I guess twenty years is all we can expect before rollers exposed to Florida weather begin to fail. In my case the ball bearings rusted and bound up the door making it very difficult to open/close. Fortunately my local Lowes had exact replacement pairs available. Always a pleasure to visit my store and the very helpful folks that work there.

Easy to install and makes a huge difference.

The bearing on this makes it roll so nice, it will take some getting use to. I find myself slamming it sometimes, from using too much force. I removed the left and right screws from the bottom aluminum channel that contains the rollers and had them installed in minutes. The screws for me were just above the rollers adjusting screws. Tapped the bottom out using a small wooden block and the rest was easy.
