This is an unique back diecast patio door roller assembly with a 1-1/4 inch concave steel ball bearing roller used on Crossly doors. It's unique diecast housing is 11/16 inch stepping down to 9/16 inch wide, 1-1/8 inch tall and 2-5/16 inch long with a flare width of 3/4 inch. The 9/16 inch wide rear design of the housing fits into the door rail held in place by a screw that engages the mounting hole in the back end. The adjustment screw is just above the mounting hole.

Sliding glass door fix!

My wife could hardly open our sliding glass door to the porch. Our (meaning ME) choose was to replace the door or fix the door. I first tried to adjust the sliders in the door but this failed. I then then took off the bottom portion of the door and removed the rollers. Next I went to LOWES found the replacement, returned home and replaced the rollers and rebuilt the door. Easy to replace, if you remove the bottom of frame

Makes my 25 year old sliding doors work as good as new! Before purchasing these rollers, I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to get the old ones out of the frame. These have a cast tab the goes into holes in the lower frame member, where it is covered by the vertical frame members. The thermopane glass assembly is only siting in the channel in a plastic gasket, and the frame member can easily be slipped off and replaced. 1. Roller assembly works great. I didn't have any sort of tool to hold the channel open in order to extract the old assembly from the door, so I used a pair of duck-bill pliers as a spreader and had my wife pull out the old roller with a pair of needle nose. Hey, it worked fine and I replaced a total of four rollers in two doors in about 30 minutes.
