This is a hog ring fastener. Copper plated steel wire construction. Number three, large size rings. Hog rings are used primarily to join wire cloth on cages or reinforce mesh. Typically these are used to repair fences, traps, cages and also can be used to help keep certain bags closed. Each package contains 75 large hog rings. Make sure when you use hog rings that the material being pierced will not rip or tear when installing a hog ring. Opening size is 7/8 in. prior to being closed. It is best to apply these using a set of hog ring pliers.
