Amazing!

My husband planted grass seed and used this to prepare the soil. He was a bit short on getting the area fully covered with peat moss. Everywhere we could see the peat moss was where the grass sprung up and all the spots where we could just see red soil, the seed didn’t take and didn’t sprout. This seemed to be the magic trick with getting the grass to grow!

Peat moss works the best when growing your own vegetables by seed. Lowes always have them in stock.

Good product that hold moisture well

Spreads well and great product for holding moisture for newly germinated grass seed. After using three bags of product, I was able to cover my 1500 square feet yard. However, I did end up with a 5 gallon bucket nearly full of larger sized debri that was to large to to cover up my new grass seed.

I was intrigued by your website and app to try out this product that seemed new - 'Fafard Sphagnum Peat Moss 3-cu ft. Organic Peat moss' instead of my usual 'Premier Peat Moss 3-cu ft. Organic Peat moss' but I couldn't find it based on the app/website location at the Escondido Lowe's. I tried to get help by asking an associate. Great for clay drainage

I have so much red clay in my yard and 'clay buster' isn't always available. This peat moss is readily available and works so well for giving me the aeration I need and the moisture control I crave! It's easy to work into the clay and mixed with other organic matter makes for an amazing ground for plants and vegetables.

Helps garden soil drain better.

I used this product in my vegetable garden and it did a good job of making it drain better and easier to weed. Prior to application, my garden soil would best be described as mucky after a hard rainfall. After application, the garden drains much better.

Great for revitalizing old potting soil.

There is a lot of product for the price and I use this to revitalize old potting soil. I add this, chicken manure, and slow release fertilizer before repotting plants and over the past few years, it's worked for me.
