The new PlexiDor PD HURCAN Series Dog Doors are the only dog door designed, engineered and manufactured to withstand severe Florida and coastal weather conditions. PD HURCAN Series has passed stringent impact testing required to receive testing certification. Florida Product Approval / FPA # 41814. To prevent damage from impact caused from high velocity flying debris, each PD HURCAN dog door comes standard with custom fit hardened aluminum storm shutters. Storm shutters are screwed to the exterior aluminum frame and provide maximum protection during severe storm conditions.
