Good color. I appreciate how easy the hub version of a hue products works. I’m all about, “it just works”. I don’t like To tinker and I think gets about as close as it gets for home smart lighting

Bright and beautiful

The phillips solo light strip is bright and has a sticky backing so you can install it just about anywhere. You can use the app to control the lights or use your Google home . Lights easily connect to the Google home fast and simple. Control the lights anywhere. The light strip is well made and durable. Easy to install. Easy to control. You can cut in the marked areas to make the light strip shorter or add more strips to fit any space. The lights are bright and look wonderful.

Flexible light strip

I ordered the shape smart light to put on my screened in sun porch for the summer. Unfortunately, its still to cold and it won't stick to the metal frame yet. But this gives me time to figure it out. If i understand correctly, I need to purchase a Philips Hue Bridge so I can change colors on the strip. Also, says it can be cut to size. I didn't give this a 5 star, becuz it's a little confusing to me.

Good Lights, not full smart home compatibility

Easy to install lights, but must use with a smart home system. It does not come with an on/off switch. The lights light up well and are nice and bright; the work well in the pantry I installed them in. The biggest issue I have with the lights is they can only be used with a smart home system and even though it claims to work with the one I have it did not. Philips Hue Smart Light Strip

This is a Philips Hue Smart Light Strip 10ft long. The light strip can go under any surface to give more light. Great for dark areas in the house or office.

It's just cool! So many colors!

It's easy to hook up, it adds nice ambience, and it has my friends talking. If you don't count cleaning the back of the TV to get the dust off, I had this up in less than 5 minutes...measure, pull off the adhesive and go! You can cut the strip down into a smaller section (denoted by the scissor marks of where to cut). There is an app called HueParty that will do two devices for free and it will do music, etc while it changes color. I'm older so I wasn't comfortable with that app but my kids ...

Under cabinet lighting

The light strip is easy to setup and integrates with my other hue products and HomeKit. I’m using it as under cabinet lighting in the kitchen and it works well when doubled up and installed in aluminum channel.

Smells really bad

I gave this product three stars because I can't even use it. It smells so bad like chemicals and cologne. I've had it airing out in my garage for several weeks and the smell will not go away. I can't even try it out, its disappointing.
