What a Difference
My nephew had actually replaced his regular screens with a company making solar screen, and it was very expensive. I bought this material, went to the store and bought the spline and did the replacement myself. Solar screens were the first things we had installed on our new house when we purchased it in 1999. The person who installed them told us they have about a 10 year life so we got an extra 10 years out them but we suspect their ability to block the sun was way past its prime. Good quality
I wanted to replace my sliding screen doors with a darker material for privacy. This product is very dark and thick. Doors came out good. Very happy with this mesh.

This has been a savor to our electric bill. We made window sceens for all of our widows so we need 2 rolls. You think it’s pricey until you call and find out that our front window alone will cost as much as the material for all the windows cost. It’s been up about 2 weeks and my ac doesn’t come on as much and the house is much cooler.

Great sun blocker
A government prograbm fixed up my house and built sun screens for my south and west side of house. Hurricanes have removed or destroyed them so I am happy to finally be able to finish my screens around the house
