Phewnyzo 1 Pair 17.2 Inch Torsion Spring Winding Rods with Non-Slip Handle 1/2 Inch Solid Steel Bars for Garage Door Adjustments

Phewnyzo torsion spring winding rods provide a pair of solid steel bars for winding and unwinding garage door torsion springs during adjustment or replacement work. The package includes 2 rods, each 17.2 inches long with a 1/2 inch outside diameter. Their solid steel construction is described as strong enough to help keep the bars from bending or breaking during operation. The surface is zinc plated and is described as not tending to rust. Each rod has a black non-slip rubber handle intended to help provide better control and more comfortable use. Use these rods with compatible garage door winding cones when working to adjust torsion spring tension and help keep the weight of a garage door balanced. The supplied instructions specify that winding cones should be wound and unwound 1/4 turn at a time. These rods are not intended for winding cones larger than 33/64 inch in diameter, so the cone size should be checked before use. The source information identifies the rods as an important tool for torsion spring adjustments and replacements and states that keeping spring tension under control is important during this work. The supplied safety guidance states that garage door torsion spring adjustments and replacements should not be attempted with tools other than these torsion rods. Follow the stated 1/4-turn procedure and the winding-cone size limitation when using them. This product is intended for the specific task of winding or unwinding garage door torsion springs rather than general-purpose bar use. For reference, the source lists product dimensions of 1.4 x 0.8 x 17.5 inches and package dimensions of 17.2 x 1.42 x 0.43 inches. Weight information lists 1.93 pounds for both the product and package, while the package description also lists a 2.0 lb weight. The pair combines zinc-plated solid steel rods with black non-slip rubber handles for the specified garage door torsion spring service application.
