Excellent Garage Door

I ordered this door and although it was a complicated delivery process (I won't go into the details), it came in good shape and ready for installation. My oldest son and I installed it in my new workshop and it went up with no problems and is a very tight fit (exactly as I wanted), operates perfectly and looks fantastic! It has been up now for 3 years and works and looks great! It looks like it was made specifically for my new building and I would recommend it to my friends.

Missing Pieces

I have two problems with this product. First it does not include the ornamental Door Hinges and Door Handles that are pictured in the photo above, and on the Lowe's Order Website. Second, it does not come with the "winding bars" that are necessary to complete the installation. There was no information stating that these would have to be purchased separately, when you place your order on the Lowe's Order Website. Easy door to install

Bought 3 doors and without installation manual was able to install the first one in less than 4 hours. The other two took less than 2 hours each. Only tricky thing was jamming in the plastic inserts for the windows. Could the installation manual have made a big difference? Could have saved me some time but who doesn't like a challenge. BTW, installed Chamberlain belt drives for quiet openings and closings.

Product fine; delivery not

Garage door did not come with installation instructions and the delivery took over two months to arrive. The tracks that came with it did not fit properly and we had to use parts from the old garage door to make it work.

Replacement Garage Doors

The doors operate very smoothly and are much quieter that the old doors. They have a very appealing look to them. The rails are thinner gauge as compared to the old ones but that is today's market. Installation is complicated unless you know what you are doing. I suggest having them installed. I noticed one of the reviews said it was required to take the windows out to install the grills this is incorrect as they snap in. Good looking door at a reasonable price.

Well worth the money!

I was only able to find this look for this price at Lowes. They were delivered for free and 2 weeks earlier than expected. They update the front of my house very nicely.

Quality Door for a Great Price

Based on other reviews I didn't know what to expect. All the hardware was included with the doors. I installed 2 doors myself. First door took me 6 hours from tear out to completion. Second door took me just 4 hours. They come with a new automated winder that you can use a decent drill to operate (no more winding bars). I did have to add some 2x8 to attach the auto winder. It does show this in the instructions and be sure to review the install instructions for the door AND the auto winder...

Great looking garage door.

This is a great looking garage door that works great. It was easy to install and worth the investment. The only downside was kit was lacking a few pieces of hardware and the door took a month to come in because it was a special order.
