Umbrella base

Had trouble inserting the post due to a plastic molded ring inside stopping the post fromm going to the bottom. Called company and was told it was molding overrun and to force umbrella through the ring! The plate on the bottom should be attached to the base because, if you pick up the base, it slides up the shaft. Company was helpful and prompt in assisting me My rating is based on the design and the trouble i had with the molded ring inside the base. The product preforms as intended

leaky rusty

I really like the umbrella holder that I got last year in May for around my patio. Unfortunately, after using it for only about a month rusty water started leaking out the bottom of it and ruined our new patio. I wish I could return it.

Takes a bit to fill.

Had difficulty filling this base with sand but once I devised a method it went fairly quickly. I do wish the hole was larger for filling.

Pretty as well as Functional

This was such a great find - I was able to coordinate this so well with my patio table (purchased at another 'discount store') that you'd never believe it didn't come with the table originally. Lightweight, so add your own sand to weight it down - but very please with this base

Surprisingly good!

I was skeptical about this base at first because the gold highlights painted on the base were really kind of sloppy so I thought the entire thing would be low quality. I was unsure of placement so I just stuck the umbrella in the empty base and moved it around the patio, all the while positioning to catch it while I waiting for it to tip over on me. Much to my surprise, it did not! The umbrella stayed upright, even when I angled it, despite the fact the tank was empty. That right there told me...

Looks Great

Very light weight when you purchase has a twist cap to open and fill with sand to weigh down your umbrella. Bronze look is very appealing to the eye.
