Be sure you understand the warranty

Overall, this has been a great buy. Just realize that these are lightweight tools and you need to use them as such. For example, don't expect the circular saw to cut what your powered circular saw will cut. Even though the packaging highlights a 3 year warranty, it is a LIMITED warranty. My multitool stopped working after 1 year, 4 months. The fact that it stopped working was not considered by Porter Cable to be a defect and therefore wasn't covered. This set overall is a very good value for the price. Be aware though that they changed some of the pieces in this combo set to cheapen them up. The model # on the drill and impact driver are different and actually perform worse than some of the other porter cable 20v sold individually. The rpm of the drill/driver in this set is 1500 with ~280 amp power. The rpm of the other 20v is 1600 with ~330 amp power. This set yes is a good value but it's a good value because it's not made like other (won't mention name brands) brands out there. I had these tools for a while, then I was hospitalized with heart failure for almost 5 months. During that time all my Porter Cable tools were stolen from my car, where I stored them. Insurance covered replacement so I bought this set of 8 tools, but was very disappointed there was no angle grinder in the set. Love my Porter Cable tools

Excellent Tools and Excellent Value I have been using Porter Cable 20v power tools for more than 5 years. I am a DIY guy but also us them in the day to day maintenance of my rental properties. Just this past week I needed to drill a 3 inch hole with my hammer drill using a 3 in bimetal hole saw. I needed to get the job done before it started raining, so I went and got my trusty Porter Cable hammer drill and completed the job in plenty of time. Quality tools at a great price.

Good value for package

I have had this set for about a year and a half and I have found it to be extremely useful and reliable. The tools are not quite as powerful as the corded versions but they work well for the average diy guy on a lot of projects.
