I got this saw on clearance for $ 20 right after getting a PC drill (with batt's and charger also on clearance for $ 40). Good tool for a DIY type of guy

I am not a contractor, but a DIY guy. I have an oder home (1953) that is needing updating, and I am doing what I can by myself. Most of my power tools are Porter Cable that I bought at estate and garage sales. They are older models, and have proven to be true workhorses. Brought this saw home (on clearance for $39). Works with the batteries and charger I already had for my drill. Put the battery in and set to cutting things up that I had been putting off. Works really well. Great deal for the money!

Great value, great product!

I bought this saw based on one simple decision. I already had 2 batteries and a charger at home by Porter Cable. I am using this to process animals from hunting. Just cut up a 250lb wild hog and it worked like I expected. It's easy to change blades, control the variable speed, and ergonomic. Clean up was so easy it's sick.
