The arm of 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch impact sprinklers can splash water towards buildings, fences, air conditioners or other hardscape features. The splash guard is engineered to protect them. Hard plastic product will become brittle in time.

The product is hard plastic not flexible as I have purchased it in the past. Hard plastic becomes brittle over time. I’ve had both types already and could not find the flexible kind so had to buy these but know they will break in a year or two.Should not have to replace these so often.
