Great smart valve with durability still to prove

This will be my second Smart water valve from the same company but this one is apparently the second generation. The first generation smart valve only lasted two seasons before leaking all over the place and having to be replaced. But the thing is I really like its functionality. All I have to do to get the hose turned on or off is use my voice with my smart assistant on my phone. I have it tied to my Google home and this makes my life very easy when needing to turn the water off from the backya...

DISAPPOINTED

I bought it to water my plants while on vacation, only to return to dry plants. It stopped watering plants after only working once, supposedly due to a water flow issue. I checked and reinstalled program just to continue getting the same alert and no watering as scheduled. My old manual timer is more reliable than this digital one.

Works great via Bluetooth. The Wi-Fi is tricky

Connected to the timer easily via Bluetooth, getting the Wi-Fi hooked up was a little more involved. I thought I had it working correctly, but then when I left home, I couldn’t access the timer unit. Turns out I’d set up the WiFi hub correctly, but my programming of the timer was all done via Bluetooth. Good Quality Irrigation Controller

I purchased this to automate the watering of my wife’s garden. It was easy to install and comes with a pressure regulator which is necessary for most jobs. My wife set it up pretty quickly and my initial impressions are good except the app is a bit over complicated. Excellent inexpensive wifi device

I bought this based on the positive reviews. Setup easy. WiFi connected with any issues as I installed the hub close by the water outlet to maximize the WiFi signal strength. I bought a 2nd one and so far all working well. I haven’t set it up for automatic operation, only do it manually at this point so can’t verify how well the programmed settings function.

Good product good app.

This works perfectly for my yard. I purchased this to help manage watering new grass seed and it allows me to anytime I want from anywhere. The scheduling feature is great. You can also see an estimate how saturated your yard is and it’ll let you customize your watering zone to fit your needs. Use the Hub to set up Wi-Fi if you want to use thi

It took me a minute to figure out that I needed to use the Hub and Wi-Fi in order to make this unit work remotely. Otherwise you're setting it up Bluetooth and you have to be close to it. Anyhow it seems to be working well although I did not use the water pressure device for my purposes.

Optimistic About Gen 2

Time will tell if this one fares better than the Gen 1 that I had. That one was leaking after being left out for the winter. Realistically that was my fault (read the instructions!) so I’m hopeful this gen will last. I will say the one negative remains that it cannot connect to my WiFi even though it is only a couple feet from both the sync module and my router, albeit with a brick wall between them. My phone connects fine though so I have to deduct a star for that.

Great for watering when away

Great timer that connects via Bluetooth and/or WiFi. We purchased this to setup a drip irrigation system for when we are away and this has worked out great for us. Easy to hookup and setup.

Convenience device

It was so easy to set up. I just followed the instructions and everything worked perfectly. The whole process took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.
